Reservations must be made in advance on HawaiianAirlines.com when redeeming HawaiianMiles for a car rental award. Car rental award bookings paid with HawaiianMiles or a combination of dollars and HawaiianMiles combined are not refundable and cannot be modified. Cancellation refunds will only be provided if cancellation is completed prior to rental pick-up time. Cancellations are not permitted after the rental pick-up date and time. A minimum of 2,500 miles and a maximum of 300,000 miles may be redeemed for car rental award bookings made solely using HawaiianMiles. Car rental award bookings made by using a combination of dollars and miles shall be subject to a minimum dollar spend of $1.00 USD. Early or late pickups as well as early or late drop offs and any returns to an alternate location are subject to charges or penalties paid by the renter directly to Avis and Budget. Discounts cannot be applied to car rental award redemption rentals. Any rental charges exceeding the rental car award and mileage redemption value is the responsibility of the renter, must be prepaid and are non-refundable. An acceptable means of payment for any excess amounts must be presented at time of rental.
