Ono Gelato Company’s founder is a third-generation gelato maker from Torino, Italy. His authentic Italian gelato creations are made daily from scratch with whole milk, heavy cream and egg yolk. Ingredients that are unavailable locally are imported from Italy — this is the real deal gelato.
A rainbow of island flavors range from sandy beach, salted caramel, coffee crunch, coconut, macadamia nut, mango, Maui “mokka,” Sicilian pistachio and all-time favorites chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, hazelnut and cookies & cream. Rich and delicious, Italian gelato is more than dessert. Besides gelato, there are coffees, lattes, frappes, and pastry, banana bread, brownies and cookies from the coffee bar.
